In our last post, we discussed the fact that discrimination in the modern workplace often appears in relatively subtle forms. Discriminatory behaviors can be so subtle that many victims are left wondering if there has actually been any intentional wrongdoing on the part of their employers or co-workers.

According to The Atlantic, in 2013 the national unemployment rate for young black college grads was more than twice as high as the overall unemployment average for this age group. Disparities in hiring extend to other minorities and older minorities as well when compared to national overall averages with respect to any given age group.
